So, if you ever have a low point, just write a blog post about it, and you’ll get swarms of sweet, encouraging texts, emails, and messages from the kindest followers, and friends, which will lift you up, and put a bright smile on your face. And then go to the stunning Oregon coast with your family for the weekend. It solves all problems. Seriously, I appreciate your kind words so very much! Last week was a low point, but so thankful God’s Mercies are new every morning. My husband and I were able to have a truly wonderful convo with my mother-in-law before we left for the weekend, and were able set things right. All is well, all is so very good.
You know what else is so very good? The Oregon coast. And discovering new clothing brands I love. Have you heard of Lilla P? I hadn’t, but was so very happy they reached out, so I could “discover” them! Their clothing line is effortless and streamlined, affording lots of ease and simplicity, which this busy mum LOVES, yet every piece is impeccably cut/tailored, and made with yummy, high-quality material, to not only show off those excellent cuts and feel silky-great on the body, but to endure and lassst. Huge high-five for lovely, easy, clothing that can hold their own in Mommyhoodville!! In this post, I’m wearing their Stretch Jersey Tulip Hem Dress in black, but it also comes in two other lovely colors. It’s such an easy-breezy, light, wrinkle-free dress, with an excellent cut and fit. Perfect for a beach picnic with the fam, and then off to town to hunt down salt water taffy. I love this dress. Our coastal day was very casual, but throw on some heels with a glitzy clutch, and this gal can go from beach to dressy-evening in no time flat.
Do I look happy? Cuz I am. Despite my air-dried, frizzy hair. (When on vacay, it’s illegal to fix it, says I.);)
Happy, happy new week to you!
