New York Fashion Week: What I Wore Day 2

So, this trip was not just about fashion week, for my team and I. We had several shoots, projects, and meetings to cram in, but most importantly, for many of us, it was our first time meeting each other in person!! I’ve known Haley for over two years now, and speak/text with her almost every single day, but I was able to finally meeeet her on this trip!! It was incredible!! I always knew she was gorgeous from her photos, but to see her standing right in front of me…. I was kind of star-struck. Haley is not just gorgeous, she’s jaw-dropping, am-I-staring-too-long-that-it’s-awkward? gorgeous. And I met her in my bath towel (um, hi, boss?), cuz that’s just how I roll. I also finally got to meet Sienna Miller’s identical twin, Tricia, and immediately wanted to put that tiny, blonde, Southern-sweet, glam ball of energy in my pocket, and carry her around with me for always (for real, though, because she’s hilarious and she makes me look pretty). I cannot stress enough how much I love and adore these ladies!! I loved and adored them before, but it was so incredible to be with them, connect with them, and see them in action. There is so much TALENT on this team!! To see Haley and Tricia, pool their talents and expertise with those of Rebekah and Lisa (of whom I’ve gushed about in my previous posts), was a goose-bump sight to behold. We were the definition of Dream Team.

So, as I was saying, NYC wasn’t jussst about fashion week and connecting, we had a lottt of work filming and shooting to cram in there! Here is a look that beautiful Lisa Brown of Bella Rose Photography captured while I was filming a segment for our new SMP trailer.

I miss these ladies so much!! “Work” didn’t feel like work, we giggled continuously, and got to celebrate together every night at amazing restaurants, toasting each other (a lot) with heartfelt, gushy, encouragements. We made the best memories, and I’m beyond excited to make many more with these ultra-fab ladies (and Ryan Hoover – he was such a great sport to hang out with all that giggly-gushiness)!

Heart is full. I love my Brilliant Team.
