We shot this look on the very last day of summer…. What a gorgeous day to officially end such a beautiful time of year, huh? Our weather promptly changed to fall, right on cue, so now I’m enjoying being cozy on this rainy, cool morning, flanked with warm memories of an absolutely dazzling, Oregon summer. It really was an exceptional one.

So, this look was supposed to be something entirely different in my head, as they often are, but I changed it up literally while I was changing into it, as I often do. What fun is fashion if ya can’t play around with it, and play dress-up with your moods? Clearly, I was in an “experimental” mood, since this look is kind of taking on a Hemingway-meets-Scarlett-O’Hara personality? I’m kind of loving it, though….
