All about the layers right now, and they are getting thicker by the minute – it is down right freezing, here! It was cool and balmy when we shot this, but I would freeze if I wore this outfit this week. Brrrr!

One of my favorite layering pieces this season has been the sleeveless sweater/vest. So easy to add, and it instantly gives a look extra dimension and texture (and warmth!) without trying too hard. When I bought this sleeveless envelope sweater by Banana Republic, I mainly bought it because it was such a perfect camel hue, but wasn’t too sure the slouchy envelope fit would look flattering on my body type. But it surprisingly did! It’s super soft, and has such a lovely drape to it – I received so many compliments on it when I wore this out the other day.
