Hello, England Calling: Meet SMP's First UK Stylist!

We are so excited to announce that we are officially adding our first UK stylist, Marnie Rowland, to our team!! Marnie is a recent Textiles and Fashion graduate from Wilberforce College, and when she reached out to us not too long ago, we were excited because we had been playing with the idea of expanding “across the pond” for quite some time. After interviewing her, we absolutely adored her for not only her impeccable, on-point styling ability, but also – and perhaps especially – for her enthusiasm, and her passion for SMP, and all things fashion-related. Marnie has innovative, fresh ideas of how we can market and expand SMP in the UK, and we’re very excited to work with her in accomplishing this. She is an absolute gem of a stylist with amazing, original style; she’s hilarious, infectious, inspiring, and she is bringing some serious A-Game to SMP, so look out, UK! We couldn’t be more thrilled to have her on our team!! Welcome to the SMP family, Marnie!!

What do you love most about personal styling?

Personal styling is all about helping women by giving them the understanding to know what looks and feels great on them. Giving women the tools to feel confident and look fabulous is just so rewarding, and since I eat, sleep, and breathe fashion, nothing makes me happier than working with people and clothes all day long. 

Who are your style icons?

Kate Moss, Vivienne Westwood, Alexa Chung, Anna Wintour (I’m a furbie, just like Anna), and most importantly, my mum!

What is your education/experience in fashion?

I have recently completed an A-level in Textiles and a BTEC level 3 diploma in Fashion and Clothing at Wilberforce College, Hull, as well as an A-level course in Communication and Culture. My education has really helped me turn my fashion hobby into a career.

Why SMP?

I believe SMP is literally the future of personal styling. The easy and accessible way the company helps women is so inspiring, as it shows that in our modern world, personal styling isn’t just for celebrities, but for real women as well. The most exciting thing about working with SMP is that it is expanding to the UK! The women of England are calling, and I believe SMP will answer their needs. Through SMP, I can help the women in the UK, just like the SMP stylists have in America. Style Me Perfect is going world-wide!
