This past weekend, my husband and I headed to Portland for a work thing, but we made it a fun, kidless, relaxing getaway (thanks to amazing in-laws!!). We attended an awards ceremony one of the nights, and since it wasn’t formal, I decided to pair my Anthropologie lace top with a jumpsuit I’ve had for ages.

Simple and easy, but I felt pretty. Especially on this street.

A warm, spring, rainy evening, soft lamp lights, a petal-showered sidewalk, lots of hand-holding…. It’s the stuff romance novels are made of.

Just a perfect evening, really. If I could live in these photographs, I would.
