What I Wore: Travel Diaries

So, I just got back from a super quick trip to LA to style a shoot, and thought I’d show ya what I wore! Why not? My itinerary included a 3 am wake-up, 2 hour drive to the airport, and a direct flight to LA where I hit the ground running, prepping and styling an all-day shoot. Comfort was an absolute mustttt, but I also wanted to look cute, of course! A great linen tee, stretchy leather leggings, and the comfiest cardi on the planet was the name of my style game. My hat hid all the sins of my flat, 3 am hair, and my little wedge booties kept my tootsies comfy all day (but looked chic, too).

All in all, this was theee perfect travel + casual-work uniform for me! If you have some all-day travel coming up over the holidays, maybe this post will lend a li’l inpsiration :) Note: I just packed my accessories in my handbag, and put them on when I landed – no sense fiddling with more than you have to in those security lines!

Tee: Gap (similar tee by Gap). Cardi: F21. Leather Leggings: Zara (old – similar pair by Ralph Lauren). Hat: Brixton (similar). Necklaces: Nasty Gal (old) + Urban Outfitters. Watch: The Horse. Silver Cuff: Noonday Collection. Rings: Topshop. Sunnies: Ray-Ban. Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs (similar M by MJ bag). Booties: Steven by Steve Madden. Nails: Julep in “Mary Lee.”

That cardi is one of my top favorite purchases this season – it’s so soft, warm, and such a great price ($28)! I wore it on each of my flights, and it felt like I was wrapped up in a cozy, snuggly blanket. Can’t beat that! More to come about my LA trip next week!
