A Spring in Her Step

Whew! It’s been a crazy few weeks up in here, with no signs of slowing for at least another bit. Nonetheless, I am feeling super charged (with the aid of coffee, of course). Make no mistake, I’m pretty exhausted, but the gorgeous, spring weather has me all hoppity. There’s just something about bright, warm sunshine, clear, blue skies, and gentle, cool breezes that make me feel like anything – absolutely anything – is possible. It’s equal parts invigorating and inspiring. What also does the exact same thing for me (times a bajillion), is having the school year’s finish line in clear view. That, alone, on a cold, rainy day has this mama puuuuuumped and sprinting like ya read about. There’s no question that I’m way more excited about it than my kids. I’m probably driving them crazy with all this extra perk, but I’m confident they’ll cope. We’re hoping to get all our building application permits approved in time to make the most of the summer weather, working on our new home, so that has me even more excited – if that’s even humanly possible! So much to look forward to in the coming months, and I’m excited to share it with you, as we go along….

But first, I’m sharing my favorite, spring accessory with you: the silk scarf/kerchief. They’re so pretty! And so small, and versatile, and easy to wear, and just add that extra oomph to everyday, casual looks, don’t ya think? Me, too.:) Shopped some for ya, below.
